On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted 352 to 65 in favor of a bill that would ban TikTok in the United States unless its Chinese parent company, ByteDance, divests and sells the social media app to an American company.

The bill will now make its way to the Democrat-led Senate. A total of 197 Republicans voted "Yea," while 15 voted "Nay." On the Democratic side, those totals were 155 and 50, respectively.
